We have Medicare Blue PPO which we receive from my former employer, as I’m retired.
We pay 25 % and past employer pays 75 %. In the last 2 years our cost has risen 70 %
with no additional coverage. One example of another cost, is that a trip to the Chiropractor
costs another $50.00 every 30 days with no additional treatment, but extra paper work,we
and the Dr. have to fill out. This is required by Medicare, but not reimbursed. Medicare
usually pays a small percentage of the visit.
An aside – Ask Congress why they don’t have to participate. Shameful!
