House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed last week that an investigation into President Joe Biden has found “as many as 11” separate financial transactions linking the First Family to corporations backed by the Chinese Communist Party – directly contradicting multiple statements by Biden about his family’s business dealings.
These most recent findings by Comer’s committee come after a report released on March 16 detailing more than a million dollars in payments funneled from a Chinese company through multiple entities until it finally reached the bank accounts of several members of the Biden family.
“On March 1, 2017, less than two months after Vice President Joe Biden left public office, State Energy HK Limited, a Chinese company, wired $3 million to [Biden family associate] Rob Walker’s company,” the report states. “The next day, the company wired $1,065,000 to a company associated with James Gilliar, another Biden family associate. Afterwards, the Biden family received approximately $1,065,000 in payments over a three-month period in different bank accounts.”
Details about the other 11 transactions are still vague, but Comer has indicated they are equally suspicious. “We don’t know what the Bidens did in return for this money,” Comer told Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo. “Right now, it looks like the Biden family just pocketed this money.”
A spokesperson for the Biden legal team has aggressively denied the notion that there was anything nefarious about these payments. “Hunter Biden, a private citizen with every right to pursue his own business endeavors, joined several business partners in seeking a joint venture with a legitimate energy company in China,” a Biden lawyer said in a statement to the New York Post.
The problem with this statement, as Comer has noted, is that no one in the Biden family has been able to explain what business activities these Chinese entities were funding.
These findings also run directly counter to repeated denials by President Biden himself that his family has any ties to Chinese companies. Biden called this latest report from the House Oversight Committee “not true,” while White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to take questions on it last week.
In light of this clear evidence, some Biden family apologists have conceded that Hunter Biden may have engaged in corrupt practices. But they maintain that his actions were simply those of a tragic, deeply flawed, depressed, and drug-addicted man.
Yet even if it were true that Hunter Biden acted independently of his father, the implications are serious nonetheless. If reporting on these payments by the New York Post and others is accurate, Hunter Biden was an instrumental figure in attempts by China to gain a foothold in the American energy industry. Doing so could have been catastrophic for U.S. national security.
A growing body of evidence also points to the unavoidable fact that Joe Biden has always had intimate knowledge of his family’s business dealings.
For instance, Joe Biden was named repeatedly in a trove of emails from 2017 where members of the Biden family worked to shore up a lucrative deal to ship natural gas from Louisiana to China. Former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski has also alleged that Joe Biden was directly involved in his son’s business dealings.
Bobulinski notably identified Joe Biden as the “big guy” referenced in an email from the infamous Hunter Biden laptop that read, “10 held by H for the big guy?” The “10 held by H” refers to an undisclosed amount of money held by Hunter Biden for the “big guy” in a planned distribution of funds as part of a deal with a Chinese energy conglomerate.
Other correspondence between Hunter Biden and his father found on the laptop further confirms that Joe Biden did, in fact, have knowledge of his son’s business dealings in China, despite his public statements to the contrary.
The Biden laptop – which was falsely dismissed as “Russian disinformation” by Joe Biden, his campaign, the Democratic establishment, and virtually every media outlet in 2020 – also unearthed a mountain of other damning revelations about the Biden family’s unsavory business dealings not just with China, but also Russia and Ukraine.
Comer has pledged to fully investigate potential crimes and force the president to provide answers that he has gone to extensive lengths to hide. Comer and his committee might just be scratching the surface of a corruption scandal the likes of which the American people have never seen.

The problem is that these congressional hearing seem to have no teeth. Things get exposed and nothing happen to the offenders. Have all the Biden family members declare this income and pay taxes on this money? 87,000 new IRS agents and they focus on waiters and waitresses.
