Election Madness: Tell Me What You Think

electionThis election cycle has many losing their sanity, particularly on social media. The GOP is clearly a bit of a mess. Trump vs. Cruz, the possibility of a brokered convention, Kasich waiting in the wings…so, how does this all play out?

Does any candidate get the adequate number of delegates?

What are the odds of a contested convention?

Would the Republican Party emerge united from a contested convention?

Who do you feel has the best shot to beat Hillary Clinton and why?

Does the Trump vs. Cruz feud seem like a silly distraction or worthwhile battle? Whose side are you on, if any?

What do you make of polling showing Kasich with the best chance to beat Hillary?

Do you think the GOP will unify behind Trump if he is the nominee?

Will Hillary’s email scandal ultimately sink her candidacy?

Are you confident in the GOP’s messaging/outreach/election strategy once the nominee is decided?

Tweet me @JedediahBila and tell me what you think.

Grandmas for Trump

Ladies, did you know that President Obama sent 400 million dollars to Iran, quietly in an unmarked plane in the middle of the night?
RANSOM!!!
President Obama continues to deny it was ransom, yet the hostages themselves said they could not go until that plane arrived.
Are they too liars like the Benghazi families were made out to be?
We, the American People, are NOT stupid.
Are we going to allow another four more years of lies and cover ups from our President?
That is exactly what we will get if Hillary becomes our next President.
Vote for Trump,

God Bless You All and Be Safe,
Grandma Fran

Im my opinion Trump is only One who has the guts/fortitude to beat the democratic candidates. Bottom line thats what its all about. I personally would like some New Blood …Someone Who is Not Apart of The Disestablishment. He has played on both sides knows how both play…. they are ALL CROOKED. It does not matter republican or democrat, there is No Difference between them…. its all about the mighty dollar and who pays who off to get bills passed. An if the so called conservative republicans don’t see this then – they are in Lala land. Lets face it every time Trump open his mouth the Liberal Media is all over him, its because he knows the Truth on Both Parties an they do not want it “all exposed” The others running on republican side from day one have expressed their concerns, its about the party…wanting to save the Party, till recently. Trump from day one has always expressed concern for “We The People,” not the party. This is why is has come as far as he has.

Question: Is the Disestablished party going to be Stupid enough to not recognize Trumps delegates.
Answer #!: Nothing is going to change over night. The economy is so far going it will take time.Trump has been the only one to acknowledge this.
Answer #2: At this point there will probably be a revolution here in the states regardless of who gets in.
Answer #3. Which I feel is going to happen. We may have had our last so called free election. If rioting breaks out…obama will call marshall law and we won’t have another election.
Answer #4: The Answer To The Question: YES they are stupid enough…its out of Fear….fear of what could be exposed, instead of being grateful for all the thousands of new voters Trump has brought to the republicans. No they are Stupid enough that they will give it to someone else who is not capable of beating Hillary. And we will continue with business al usuall & Hillary back in the white house..
ALL Because Its About The Party!
Answer to Your Question: Yes I have always been a registered republican. But have been greatly discourage with who the “Party was running” as president over the last Several elections. Because of the Long Disestablishment this is why we are voting for Trump, the need for some new blood.
Thank You

Linda,
I think you have been reading too many Trump press releases. Cruz is a conservative constitutionalist with an impressive track record of integrity and fighting for our rights. Despite what Trump is SAYING today, he has been all over the maps on his positions. If you look at what he has actually DONE, he has a record of cronyism, bribing and using the government to his own advantage.

in my opinion any one of the republican presidential candidates would be much better than clinton or sanders to run the country i believe the RNC should honor the person with the most votes (the peoples choice) in the primary selection and then get 100% behind him AND END ALL THE IN FIGHTING !!!!!

Forget the names for a minute and think about what is best for America. I personally believe in the constitution and bill of rights. So I want someone who believes the same thing and has articulated this belief. Also since we know sometimes words are cheap, I want someone with some practical experience in the world. Electing someone who promises to fight for you and doesn’t makes me angry. Maybe a person outside the box can bring good change. Current concerns for me are terrorist, lost trade economy, national debt and racial tensions. For me I am leaning towards Trump because he has successful experience in the real world and wants America to be great again. He doesn’t want Americans on welfare depending on government but opportunities for everyone. I can not say all the reasons why I trust him here and I know he is not perfect. I have removed names from my decision and looked at the American dream. Who fits the world you want and does it agree with the constitution? I hope you do more than vote a party and vote for someone who will make America great again.

Kip, if 73% of women despise him, do you really think they will vote for him? … It’ll never happen and Hillary gets elected. … Think about that, if he can’t beat Hillary, and EVERY national poll shows that he will lose to her, why would you back an obvious loser? … Of course, I know Trump CLAIMS that the polls show otherwise, he’s lying again and you can check the polls yourself. I know that ALL POLITICIANS LIE, but Trump is caught lying so often, how can you trust him? … And don’t tell me he’s not a politician, he’s been buying off politicians his whole life. Why else would Hillary attend his last wedding?

Trump is trying to put America back in the fold of our own progress and safety first. We need to play with others by orderly rules if they exist. If not respect for others until they disrespect us. then they get what they ask for.

1.nobody gets 1237; 2. contested convention–better than 3 to 1; 3. very unlikely; 4. Cruz, he would not hesitate to beat her to a pulp; 5. a silly distraction, & I’m for Cruz; 6. polling at this point is a silly distraction, even though Bill calls it a trend; 7. no unification whoever wins; 8. I can only hope; 9. not if the RNC runs it

If only people would make a list of characteristics, lifetime experience and training, overall knowledge, Tact and diplomacy, a lifetime spent selflessly helping others, top level managementexperience in fiscal and personnel, worldwide honor and trust and awards sand honors. Lots more qualities could be added, but only one man would pass that test if honestly conducted and if everyone made a sensible list and checked it twice, only one man, Dr. Ben Carson, would full all the qualities needed,

All I’ve heard from Cruz lately is about Trump. Knowing Trump is a counter puncher he is baiting him. There is something very shifty about Cruz and his campaign. Trump will have to surround himself with the right people. When you see how hard the establishment is working against him, it just confirms their feelings of being the elite and knowing what is best for every day people I hope I live to see Hillary dressed in orange.

Wayne, Cruz is only counter punching Trump’s attacks. Trump gives us no real substance, just promises. “I’m going to win, win, win, so much you’ll be tired of winning and it’s going to be great!” Now Trump has a national disapproval rating of 73% with women and all you Trump fans still think he’s going to win against Hillary? … Trump is so obnoxious and despicable, why would any Republican with any common sense and any moral values at all vote for him? … Trump IS a lifelong Democrat who is now effectively destroying the Republican Party. EVERY national poll shows him losing to Hillary yet Trump claims just the opposite and you Trump fans still believe he can win? … You’re ALL nuts!!!

I am in no way establishment elite. but I am a descendant of Revolutionary ancestors on both sides and have spent a good 58-60 years actively studying what made governments succeed or fail. The leader that has had to work his way up is far more likely to know workable solutions to problems than one born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

The people of the United States are are angry, pissed off and tired of lying politicians. At this point, Donald Trump comes across as the answer to all that is wrong in the world. Whether you agree or not – Trump supporters do not care. Right now, anything looks better than what we have had so far, to them.
Some voters, will vote for “anyone” other than a Democrat…particularly – Hillary Clinton. This is a sad time for the United States, what legacy are we leaving for our grandchildren?

I believe that it is now or never for our country. I will vote for Mr. Trump. It is time that we had a business man running the country, so that we can get rid of abuse and waste. President Obama has turned our country upside down. We need someone that will lead. The time is now.

Common sense please: who has the better base to know how to solve problems? A man born in wealth who could get away with anything and who always knew that there was money available to cover any blunders or mistakes? OR A MAN WHO HAD TO USE KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND INTEGRITY to manage a major TOP -LEVEL department
and deal diplomatically with people older than himself who had to follow his leadership

We have no party for the majority of Americans. Socially Liberal, Fiscally conservative. I really believe that our low voting percentage demonstrates that, This year, there is anger. Because after 7 years of double speak and half measures, lack of representative foreign policy, and a complete abdication of the role of a President to represent the ENTIRE country, anger is the only way many in the electorate feel expresses anything close to the change they want. It is unfocused, blind anger. Witness Trump and Sanders. People are not feeling good about where we are. And anger FEELS good. It sates the need to be heard. And it will continue until we get rid of things like SUPER delegates. Billion dollar PACS. A total disregard for fairness. A total disregard of truth and ethics. I served this country. I was proud to do it. This isn’t why I did it. I am ashamed at the way we are represented in the world.

Jedediah: I am a Republican mostly because O’Bama is a Democrat. It’s very difficult to decide between Trump and Cruz.I wish they would grow up and quit acting like children. Right now if I had to vote it would be for Trump. Mostly because of Dr. Carson.

I’m hoping the drama and disillusion do not result in another “Ross Parrot effect” for the conservatives of this great country. Trump is saying what every one who loves the USA wants to hear…but is he REAL? I firmly beleive the Socialists ( call them what they are) ust dusted of Burned out Sanders to make their side look interesting. I believe Kill-Liary belongs in prison with her despicable husband and the Idiot in charge of the White House now!

Throughout this past decade; the GOP’s history of Presidential candidates has gone from fairly reasonable contenders, to this week its this candidate and next week is that candidate, now to trash talk man I tell you this 2016 has been the most awful display of leadership contenders. No Trump, he does not understand what a Presidential leadership is nor does not act anywhere near one. No Trump, bad for America!

If only we could attach a turbine to Ronald Reagan’s corpse. With this Republican presidential primary race Mr. Reagan is probably spinning in his grave fast enough to solve all the country’s energy problems.

Hi Jedediah, this election cycle both angers and frustrates me. I can’t believe Trump is so popular, he’s so disgusting and isn’t even Conservative. I do believe we will have a contested convention. Trump will never unite the party behind him and will lose to Hillary. Cruz is the best alternative. Kasich is a moderate, so of course he is attractive to the establishment leadership. If the people truly want a Constitutional Conservative, then Cruz is the right choice. He can defeat Hillary and wouldn’t hurt other Congressional Republican candidates. Trump will be a disaster and Kasich would be as popular as milktoast, just another establishment mouthpiece. I still think Dr. Carson would be the best candidate for winning the general election because he can draw from the black vote. Hillary should be wearing an orange pantsuit but it will never happen in Obama’s Justice Department. … The real question and theme for Republicans is to play up and compare today’s Democratic Party leadership to Communists, but they’ll never do it, the cowards. … I do expect that the Republican Party will split apart if Trump wins the nomination. Cruz can win and I would love for Fiorina to be his running mate, which might help with the female vote.

I initially approved of Cruz, but his underhanded treatment of Carson was one of many red flags. I like many others, are suspicious of Trump ( as he has no voting record- has given money to BOTH sides) but he is an AMERICAN Capitalist businessman and that is what the USA needs right now- as opposed to the Idiot in Chief we have now who acts like a Muslim foreigner, and deffinately does not love the USA!

R.D., so you’re okay when Trump called Dr. Carson a pedophile? … Or you’re okay with what Trump said about Heidi Cruz? Or Megan Kelly? or Carly Fiorina? … Whatever you like about Trump, 67% of women dislike him and probably won’t vote for him. What effects will that have on Congressional candidates in each state? … Trump will lose to Hillary and the Commies will retake the House and Senate because of him. It’s the old “guilty by association” effect. If you want lying Hillary as President and Obama on the Supreme Court then by all means back Trump. … I too wanted Dr. Carson, but I’m disappointed in his backing of Trump and have emailed and told him so. I, personally don’t like voting for any attorney, but Cruz is the best Constitutional Conservative left to vote for and HE CAN DFEAT HILLARY, TRUMP CAN’T!!!

Cruz lied about Carson being out of the race; which is the reason, I suspect, Carson decided to support Trump. Cruz also published a half naked picture of Trumps wife, insulting Trumps wife long before Trump even mentioned Heidi. Trump had nothing to do with Cruz’s affairs. Rubio’s party tipped the Rag. Cruz has lied so much throughout his campaign. He also claims he’s a christian, yet didn’t tithe. Cruz’s campaign gave $500,000.00 to Carly Fiorina for her own campaign, in July 2015. That is now being investigated by the Federal Election Commission. Carly dropped out of the race. PAC called Awesome America, (created by Carly) & assumes Carly’s PO box. Awesome America is the group who was started by Carly and who purchased the modeling pictures of Trump’s wife, then published them, to show the Mormons in Utah. Why would Cruz give $500,000.00 to an opponent, if he weren’t expecting something in return? The people voting Cruz are misguided at best or only voting for him because he claims to be Christian. Christians are not supposed to be deceitful. Also. The Bush family supports him, and yet another red flag goes up!

There is an article written by Rollin Reisinger in Bearingdrift.com titled “Debunking Breitbart’s Cruz-Fiorina-Maur Conspiracy Theory”. You might want to read this article before you start quoting Breitbart’s accusations as fact. Breitbart supports Trump so yes they would push anything negative about Cruz. Just saying…there are 2 sides to every story. This article explains the why about the po box # being the same also and that explanation can be verified as stated in the article.
